We are proud to be able to offer equine chiropractic care to our clients as an aid for better health and performance. Chiropractic care does not replace traditional veterinary medicine but complements it. Chiropractic treatment involves manual manipulation of the spine, joints and soft tissues to help balance and restore equilibrium to the equine body. This in turn prevents injuries and improves health and performance. The length of the visit will depend on the severity of the issue at hand, but can last anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour. It is always helpful to have the saddle ready so that an assessment of saddle fit can also be preformed.
Common equine issues that may benefit from chiropractic care:
- Lack of impulsion
- Stiffness
- Inability to flex or bend
- Inability to collect
- Trouble picking up or maintaining leads
- Swishing tail, bucking, pinning ears when being ridden
- Back Pain
