Dentistry

Routine dental care is a crucial part of your horse’s overall health and well being. Examination and routine maintenance (floating) are important to keep your horse performing well, living longer and leading a healthier life. Our general recommendation is to perform a dental exam annually to determine if care is required. A thorough dental examination is performed with a speculum to allow access to the whole mouth. Sedation is often used to ease any anxiety that the patient may have. A comprehensive dental record, with the procedures preformed is provided to the owner for their records.
